A New Celtic Rosette
Our new rosette packs a big punch. I have been looking forward to bringing out some new items and adding them to our catalog. This pretty new rosette is an excellent addition because it is slightly different in styling and use.
I think of the design as being a little art deco and a little Celtic. Not your ordinary applique which tends to be very rococo, this one is bigger and a little boxy. It is not quite as ornate as some of our rosettes.
It would be great on a drawer front especially finished like these lovely red patina doors I found on Pinterest. However, it would look just at home strung together as a trim. It could even adorn the top of a box especially as the holiday time draws near and these little boxes make great hostess gifts. So many ways to use one applique.
It seems to lend itself to a. metallic finish, maybe even a rusty one like we described here. That means it would go well with an Industrial Chic Style or even a more modern style.
This new appliques is found in the rosettes section as R17 and retails for $8.00. As with all of our appliques they are fully bendable and easy to apply with contact cement. We have several more new styles we will be adding this fall so check back often.
